Adding Chapter-wise Questions In Practice Sets

After creating your practice you have to add the chapters to your Practice Set and add questions relating to that chapter. If you click on the “Continue Adding” button beside your practice set it will take you to the Chapter Details page.

Overview

At the top of the Chapter Details page, you will find three options;

  • Total No Question(s): This shows the sum of the number of questions present in all your practice sets.

  • Total No of Chapter(s) in All Practice Sets: This shows the sum of the number of chapters covered in all your practice sets.

  • Total No. Of Faculty: This shows, how many faculty have contributed to creating the practice sets under your coaching.

Chapter Details

Under these three sections at the top of the page, you will see Chapter Details. Just beside the Chapter Details at the right-hand corner, there is Add Chapter button and two other filtering fields; Subjects and Select Status. Let’s find out how to add chapters to your Practice set first:

Chapter Details

Under the Chapter Details section, six more options, that provides information about the chapters you have added. Let’s have a look at the options:

  • Chapters- Under chapters you will see all the chapter names that you have included in your practice set.

  • Subject- Under subjects, you will the subject to which the particular chapter belongs.

  • No Of Question(s)- Under this option, you will see how many questions you have added per chapter.

  • Faculty Name- Under this section you will get to know who have added the questions for a particular chapter.

  • Status- Under this section, you will at which state your chapter is.

  • Action- Under this section, you will see a button to represent a particular action you need to take for the chapter.

    • Continue Adding button- If your chapter Requires Questions you will see Continue Adding button under action.

    • View Details button- If Your chapter is Completed you will see the View Details button under action.

    • Check Details button- If your Practice set is In-Review under this section you will see the Check Details button.

    • View Analytics button- If your Practice set is approved and live you will see View Analytics under action.

    • Check Reason- If your practice set is rejected you will see (Check Reason button) under Actions. Besides every action button, there will be three dots on clicking which you will be able to access more functionalities.

      • Go To Question – Clicking on this will redirect you to the Question page.

      • View- Clicking on this will redirect you View Details page.

      • Edit- Allow you to edit. However, after completing a chapter if you want to add it you have to delete all the questions if you want to edit the chapter. Apart from that, you can edit the name of the faculty.

      • Delete- Clicking on this would delete that chapter you have added. However, if you are deleting a chapter after adding questions to it, you will not be able to delete the chapter until and unless you remove the questions first.

Adding Chapter Step by Step

To add chapters you have to follow the steps mentioned below:

  • Click on the Add Chapter 📖 button.

  • You will reach the Add chapter page. Fill in details in the fields down below on this page.

    • Subject – Select the name of the subject under which the chapter of your practice set would be.

    • Chapter- Click on the black field to see the dropdown. Select the chapter from the dropdown. You can select only one chapter. As one Practice Set can have multiple chapter practice papers within it.

    • Faculty – Select the name of the faculty who is creating the practice set. However, adding a faculty name is not mandatory. You have to add faculty in your charging dashboard to be able to tp select your desired faculty name from this dropdown. You can not manually type the name of the faculty to give credit.

    • Language- Select the language of your practice set. However, you will only get the option of selecting one language from here because the language selected for the practice set is the language for the questions.

      After filling in all the details click on the Create button at the bottom of the Add Chapter page.

  • Once the chapter is added you have to click on the Continue Adding button to add questions to your Practice set.

  • Once you are done adding questions click on the Finish Chapter button and you would be redirected to the questions page.

Filtering Chapters

There are two kinds of filters provided in the Chapter Details section:

  • Select Status

  • Subjects

To filter out your chapters with the status you can use different status from the Status drop-down.

For filtering the chapters with subjects you can use the Subject drop-down to choose your prefered subject.

Status Of Chapters:

In the chapter details section, there are two more fields; Subject and Select Status. The Subject field is to filter your chapters by subjects in case you have added multiple subjects in your practice set. The Select Status is there to filter out your chapters as per their status. However, If you have published your practice set. Let’s have a look at what are the available status and what do they mean:

Under Process: If your chapter is under process it means you have not yet completed adding questions in your chapter. You want to add more questions or you may want to edit the chapter as well. Editing a chapter is only possible if you have not added any questions under that chapter or If you delete the question under that chapter.

Completed: If your chapter in completed status that means you have finished adding a subsequent amount of questions in that particular chapter.

In review- If your chapters are in review this means, your practice set is published. You have added all the chapters within all your chosen subjects and you have finished adding questions within all the chapters.

Rejected: If your chapter is in rejected status that would mean your Practice set has been rejected. The chapter that is in rejected status requires improvement.

Live: If your chapters are in Live status this would mean the practice set that you published has been reviewed and approved. Now, it would be available to be used by your aspirants.
