Process Description

### **Steps To Import Questions From XLS / Excel**

* You can also import questions from your system by importing XLS files from your computer**.**
* However, your question should be properly arranged in your XLS file.
* You can drag and drop your XLS file and click on the **Upload and Next** button at the bottom right of the web page. Your question will be automatically uploaded.
* You can also download a sample file as a reference to the correct format of data in an XLS file.
* If the XLS file is not in the correct format the file will not be imported.
* Arrange your questions and answers data according to the format as defined in the sample XLS file. To avoid making mistakes in arranging the data in an excel file.
* Once you upload the questions there be a preview form. The preview will show the details of the question and the format in which it is being uploaded.
* If the format of the excel file is correct there will not be any blank field. However, if there are blank fields they need to be filled carefully.
* You will need to check each of the fields carefully and find out which data is missing. You have to put the data one by one. A field can be black for multiple reasons:
 * Wrong spelling
 * Missing Subject Name
 * Mismatch in Subject name (Etc Maths could be - Mathematics on the Admisure platform).
 * The date input format was incorrect.
* Each of the above mentioned needs to be carefully corrected then only the excel file can be uploaded.
* After you are done filling in the data you can click on the **Save** button. Once you click on the **Save** button you will be redirected to a preview page. You can find all the questions from the excel file.
* Check all the questions if all the info in the questions is correct click on the **Import Now** button which is at the bottom right-hand corner of the page.
* After you click on the Import now button your question will be uploaded and a brief summary of the upload will be visible.
* There will be a continue button on the summary pop up box click on the continue button and you will reach the question listing page.

**Note**: You must remember you have to add a minimum of 10 questions and you can up to 100 questions max.
