The key function of this page is to add questions within the Quizzes you have just created. You will find Add Question just below the Question header. Under Add Question, you will find there are three ways of adding questions.
Ways of Adding Question:
Select Question (From question Vault)
Import From XLS (Excel File)
Adding Questions (Manually)
Let’s find out how to add questions through each method:
If you have already added a few questions to your Question Vault or to your Quizzes/Practice Set/ Test Package, your task of creating a new Quiz is way easier. Once you click on the Select Question button, the Question Vault page will open up. Just under the Question vault search bar, you will find there is an option to filter questions. You can filter already added questions by following a few steps as follows:

Once you click on the select question you will be redirected to the Question Vault page.
The Exam Type and subject name will be pre-selected you will have to put the rest of the details to filter the questions.
Next, select the difficulty level of the questions you have filtered out.
Select faculty who has added the question and the name of the typist. However, selecting a typist and faculty name is not mandatory to filter out the questions.
Your question will be added to the Quiz.
You can also add questions to your Quiz by directly searching them from the Questions vault with a question ID.
Note: You will be able to find the question ID from the Question vault or every time you add a question in your Quiz/ Test Package/ Practice set you will see the question ID beside the questions.
Steps To Add Questions with the Question ID
Click on a Select Question (Question Vault).
The question will be added to your Quiz.
You can also import questions from your system by importing an XLS file. However, your question should be properly arranged in your XLS file as per the given sample format. You can use this method of importing questions for bulk upload of questions in one go. Let's have a look at the step to import questions from an excel file:
Steps to Import Questions From Excel File
To import questions from the Excel file first click on the Import From Excel
button. You will be redirected to the Import From Excel page where you can upload or drag & drop an excel file.
Select the excel file containing questions and click on Upload. However, the excel file will not be imported until and unless the questions are arranged according to the format defined by Admisure to import questions. You can get the sample format from the Import from excel page at the top right-hand corner of the page. You can download it and arrange the data of your questions accordingly.
Once you click on upload you will reach the next page to enable you to review the details of your question. If you need to make any changes you can do that from this page and click on save.
If there is any information missing on this page it will not go further upon clicking on the save button. You will have to fill in all the required information and click on the save button again.
After clicking on the Save button you will be redirected to a list view of the questions. You can review all your questions that are going to be uploaded. In case you find a problem you can click on the edit button at the bottom right of the page to make further changes and save it. If you do not need to make any changes click on Upload now.
Once you click on Import Now you will get a summary of all the imported questions. You have to click on continue and you will be redirected to the Question Listing page.
What should I do If I don't find my Subject or Topic?
In case you do not find your Subject or Topic you can select Others instead of your subject and topic to continue adding the questions.
This is a manual process of adding the question. You have to type the question in the editor and save it. There are a few steps to add questions manually. Let’s have a look at them:

To add questions manually first click on Add question button. You will be redirected to the question editor page.
Choose the subject you want to cover in your Quiz from the Question Entry Options. Example: English, Gen Knowledge etc.
Next, you have to select the chapter related to the subject. It is not mandatory to choose the topic of the question. Adding topics is only applicable where there is a subtopic.
Select the type of question that is multiple choice from the Question type field.
Once all the fields under the Question Entry Option are filled in the editor box will appear so that you can type your question.
Type your question in the Question Filed area. In the text editor, you will find various options, image insert, insert formulas etc use the editor according to your requirement.
You have to now write the options for the question. In the case of multiple-choice question type by default, you will get four fields for typing your options.
However, you can add more than four fields for options by clicking on the plus/add sign beside the first answer field. You can also delete the answer field if you do not want to show all four options. You can simply click on the remove button and the field will be removed.
You will find a text editor button at the right-hand top corner of the question details that you can turn on for inserting images, special characters or formulas in the option fields.
Choose the correct option for the question and move on to Add Explanation.
Adding a solution is very important because here you will put the explanation of choosing an answer. If the aspirant makes mistake in answering a question later they can learn where they went wrong by reading the solution provided.
You can also add a recorded video solution as well. You can simply add the video URL in the Video URL Field providing the solution for the question.
Click on the Advanced Options section.
In the Marks, the field put the marks that would be awarded for the right answers.
The Typist will be auto-selected as your user name. However, if you have added a typist under your coaching dashboard you can select the name of the typist in the Typist field.
Faculty Name can be chosen from the drop-down, however; it is not mandatory.
Date Created is also auto-selected.
If you click on Save & New you the next page Add Question page that will open will have all the options pre-selected as the last Add Question page. If you are adding a question related to the same subject, having the same question type, you would not need to reselect the options on the next page. But if you want to add a question of a different subject having a different question type, you have to make the necessary changes.
Thereafter select the chapter from the drop-down. You will see questions related to that particular chapter under the Question Details section.
If you have any sub-topic of that chapter you can select the subtopic from the Select Topic dropdown.
Select the type of questions you want to add to your Quiz.
Once you are done filtering out the questions you will see the status beside the questions if they are already assigned to a Quiz/ Practice Set / Test Packages the question status will be Assigned. If your question is not assigned to any Quiz/ Practice Set / Test it will show Not Assigned.
You can click on the check box provided by the side of the question ID of each question and click on Add Questions To Quiz button.
It will redirect to the question vault page. You have to write the question ID in the search bar and click on search.
The question will appear below Question Details. Select the question and click on Add Question to Quiz.
In the Negative Marks put the marks that will be deducted for a wrong answer.
Select and define how difficult the question would be to answer in the Difficulty Level field.
After all the sections are filled, you need to click on Save And New to keep on adding other questions or you can also click on Save And Close to stop adding questions.
Once you click on the Save & Close button you will be redirected to the Question page. You will be able to find the added questions under the Question section of the page.
